6 $25 dinners from Trader Joe’s


























Chopped salad sammies with chips - TBH this one was kind of a disaster but the salad was delish and the bread was awesome so I would maybe just serve as a dinner salad with the buns! In my veggie chopper, I chopped the provolone, salami, pepperoni, iceberg lettuce and a small red onion. I brushed melted butter on the top of the buns (halved) then sprinkled with garlic salt. Heated them in the oven at 350 for about 5 min. I mixed some of the salad with mayo & dressing in an attempt to help it stay on the buns; however, that was a total fail. In hindsight, I would just serve the yummy chopped salad (dressed with Graza olive oil, pink salt and white balsamic) with the seasoned & heated buns (not halved) and potato chips (great for scooping up salad!)


Mummy hot dogs and fries - I am sure you've seen this one all over Pinterest. Take your canned crescent rolls and cut into strips using a pizza cutter. Wrap the strips around the hot dog to create mummies (leaving a small space for the eyes). Bake at 375 for 13-15 minutes. Dot mustard for eyes (or use candy eyes). Serve with french fries.



Sauteed sausage, broccoli & rice - Slice sausage into rings and saute in oil until browned. Meanwhile, saute broccoli florets in oil until bright green, then add a bit of water and cover for 1-2 min to let broccoli cook through. Uncover and continue to saute, adding chopped garlic and parm.


Tiktok viral spaghetti - I'm not sure where this originated on Tiktok, but here's the recipe: Brown & drain 1 lb of ground beef and 1 chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning. Add 1 jar of marinara sauce & heat through. Cook 1 lb of spaghetti in heavily salted water until 1 min less than al dente. In baking dish, add spaghetti & 1 jar of alfredo sauce (mix to combine). Top with meat mixture then add shredded mozzarella on top. Bake uncovered at 350 for 15 min.


Pizza & salad - Pizza crusts, topped with pizza sauce & shredded mozzarella. Bake at 400 for 8-10 min. Serve with chopped romaine & dressing of choice.
